Southern Sailing Foundation’s purpose is to promote local, regional, national, international and olympic amateur sailing, water safety, maritime education and competition.
This is accomplished in two ways.
The first is to grant money to deserving sailors, clubs, and organizations that promote amateur sailing, racing competition, water safety, and maritime education.
The second is through the provision of equipment, instructional clinics, and outreach programs, which facilitate amateur sailing, racing competition, water safety, and maritime education.
